Weekly Report — November 20–26, 2021
Welcome to our weekly developer blog as we share with the community about the past week’s work.
The current week was completely devoted to the development of new functionality. We are already testing the innovations with developers and will share all the details with you just in a few days.
And now about everything in more detail.
This week we added a new graphical element to the game — Space Sectors. This means that the map of space is splited into square sectors, which makes navigating in space much easier and more comfortable.
Didn’t you like it? Don’t worry! You can easily disable this “Grid” with one click and continue playing with the familiar interface.
And that’s just the beginning! The full functionality of the Space Sectors can be tried out in the upcoming update with «Bombardment».
We also visually separated the stars where the Space Stations are installed. Stars with recycling CS will remain unchanged, but the stars with production CS received a new color — blue.
Now you can easily identify the type of Space Station directly from space.
As you can see, the interface of the game is becoming more and more user-friendly.
In addition to the current tasks, we are not forgetting about the development of the new game. This week we announced the concept of the updated Artifact Installer interface.
There are a total of three Artifact slots on the planet. Each of them gives a specific bonus. For example, accelerated extraction of minerals or building ships.
Galaxy Online 2’nd Anniversary
We would like to remind you that already on November 30 we will celebrate the 2'nd anniversary since the launch of the game.
One of these days you will be able to brand the mysterious NFT in your account page!
P. S.: To get this NFT, you need a connected NEAR wallet. Custodial wallets and exchange wallets will not be work. Be careful.
We are continuing accepting your feedback and fixing bugs we find.
Some of the fixed bugs:
- corporate Space Station interface
- long loading time of the player’s profile
- autobuild ships status.
Thank you to the players who help us test and debug the game on a CBT (closed beta testing) server. Thanks to you, Galaxy Online is alive and growing.
